Premier League bottom side Aston Villa need to win 10 matches to save themselves from relegation, manager Remi Garde said. The Frenchman has yet to guide his side to a single Premier League victory since taking over from the sacked Tim Sherwood six games ago.
"I think we need at least 10 victories. With 36 points you can be safe," Garde said. "Sometimes you go down, sometimes with more points you can go down. Step by step we need to concentrate on the first win, then the second. We need to start very quickly that is for sure." Villa are 10 points from safety having picked up just seven points from 17 matches.
