Leicester City's English midfielder Danny Drinkwater leaves the pitch after being sent off for two bookable offences during the English Premier League football match between Manchester United and Leicester City at Old Trafford in Manchester, north west England, on May 1, 2016.

Leicester City's Danny Drinkwater will not face further disciplinary action after being sent off in the Premier League leaders' 1-1 draw with Manchester United. The midfielder was shown a second yellow card four minutes from the end of normal time at Old Trafford for pulling back Memphis Depay just outside the box.

Drinkwater reacted angrily when referee Michael Oliver sent him off but the official opted against reporting the incident and, consequently, no further action will be taken. By contrast, Jamie Vardy -- Drinkwater's Leicester team-mate -- saw his ban extended to two matches following his furious reaction to being sent-off against West Ham United last month.
